Berlioz! I had no Idea you were on this forum! I've been following your adaption for a while. It's absolutely magnificent.
I understand how people can complain that link isn't even in the opera, but he's sort of an extension of yourself into the game. There's no way that you can portray every one's version of Link without creating a whole new character. I think what overwhelms people with majora's mask is the extreme responsibility you have towards these people. It's unlike any other game in the franchise or even games of that time. Unlike other zelda games, you actually cared for the people in that town and cared if you lost or won for their sakes. I think it was the right choice to focus on the townspeople without link.
